The Artist

Rex Trayhorne is a professional watercolour artist and a Member of the 'Royal Miniature Society' - a selected group of painters whose work is chosen for its very fine detail in all media but the rectangular frame shall not exceed six by four and a half inches. His earlier professional life was spent as a technical illustrator and graphic artist, specialising in airbrush work. His drawing skills, and sense of perspective, tone and colour are  apparent in his present watercolour examples. He holds teaching classes and gives demonstrations and talks to various Art Societies when requested.

Stable House Studio

Rex and his wife Geraldine, live and work from their home and studio in the heart of Romsey Town. Geraldine attended a five year vocational course, achieving an advanced certificate in ceramics. Her work is hand made and distinctively decorated;- mostly useful ware rather than purely ornamental. Visitors are welcome to call and view their original work;- pottery, original paintings, limited edition prints and greeting cards, all reproduced from their paintings.

Printing

Another facility, which will interest many artists, is to see their work in print,- either as a greeting card or as a fine art print. With the most modern digital printing methods available, you can expect some very fine reproductions from your watercolours, oils and pastels and at an extremely economical price that will surprise you. Just send for a quote and a sample to Rex Trayhorne, who supervises and guarantees the quality of reproduction.

With almost 60 various cards to distribute, he is looking for another interested agent, to carry his and other top class artist's cards.
